Education/Qualifications/Training Courses 

  • Degree level general education, or equivalent professional experience
  • Leadership qualification, or equivalent professional experience 

Experience 

  • Proven track record of leading operational excellence in a comparably complex organisation
  • Proven experience of leading, motivating and developing multi-functional teams, able to inspire those in paid, volunteer and lay roles
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging and influencing at board level in either a paid or voluntary capacity
  • Evidence of designing and delivering impactful change initiatives
  • Significant experience of effective financial management
  • Commercially astute and able to identify opportunities for income generation
  • Collaborative and able to build relationships with and engage diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of developing strategy and leading its subsequent delivery
  • Active commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
  • (Desirable) Ability to thrive and lead in a values-led organisation
  • (Desirable) Awareness of fundamental principles of HR practice/UK legislation
